Information Management Association (IMA), Taiwan Founded in 1982, IMA is one of Taiwan's longest-established IT professional organizations, dedicated to strengthening Taiwan's digital competitiveness.

In 2026, IMA focuses on four key initiatives:

1. IT Matters Awards: Recognizing outstanding IT employers, technology talent, digital transformation achievements, and innovative projects, co-organized with CommonWealth Magazine to share best practices and foster collaboration.
2. Government Digital Development Programs: Supporting policy implementation through industry events, networking activities, Demo Days, and multi-channel communications.
3. Taiwan Tongues: Building an open corpus covering Taiwanese Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Hakka, and Indigenous languages to help global language models better understand Taiwan.
4. Taiwan Open Source Initiative: Promoting technical collaboration, open-source project showcases, and international exchange; building “Team Taiwan” in the global open-source ecosystem.
