The automotive industry is now deeply focusing on Software Defined Vehicle(SDV).  In the SDV era, software is the top tier of vehicle components and provides primary value to users.  AGL launched the SoDev project, an open-source reference platform for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) in 2025.  It aims to de-fact standard for the SDV platform. The backbone of the SoDeV project is hardware decupping. It realizes 'easy to reuse software in each runtime environment', and 'can develop software without final hardware'. It's utopia for software. Current SoDeV architecture is an ideal design. It is very difficult to integrate into a real vehicle. How to resolve this issue? We think that open discussion and code-first development are the best way. Our track mainly focuses on the elemental technology of SoDeV and the SDV applications. The example of elemental technology of SoDeV is OSS GPOS(Linux), RTOS, Virtualization and more Open-Source project activities. The example of SDV application is vehicle diagnostics, AD/ADAS and others. Why do we hold this track?  We believe that code-first development is the best practice for innovations. Additionally, this track is the best chance for open discussion.
