What is L2? How does it evolve from sidechain or state channel to it’s current form - Rollup? What has been improved along the way?
What’s the current L2 landscape look like? What are the difference between them?
What is the bottleneck of L2? How are they going to be improved?
I’m Hsiu-Ping Lin. You can call me Nicholas or Nic. I’m a blockchain engineer at imToken Labs where I write smart contracts and research different L2s. I previously worked at Ethereum Foundation as an engineer and then worked on project Unirep with a grant from Ethereum Foundation. My focus back then was on PoS, Sharding and Stateless Client. I’m also interested in zero knowledge proof and believe it is the most important technology in the next decade. My biggest wish is to be able to fake a zero knowledge proof of me owning a Lamborghini. Or be able to generate a kind of zero knowledge proof to convince my parent that I’m a grownup now so they can stop worrying about me all the time.
