There are still many problems in the application of blockchain in the Internet of Things. For example, the data of sensors cannot be monitored for a long time. Due to the problems of handling fees and scalability, the introduction of the Internet of Things into the blockchain will cost a lot. Although the supply chain uses smart There have been many achievements in the contract, but the process data of the Internet of Things cannot be recorded in the blockchain, and the data transfer process from the IoT perception layer to the network layer is not open and transparent. In order to solve the problems of scalability, efficiency, and handling fee, the distributed ledger Tangle of Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) has appeared. Different from the general blockchain ledger which is packaged into a chain structure of blocks, Tangle uses the structure of DAG as the basis of the ledger, which can improve the speed of transactions, and at the same time can completely record the history of the Internet of Things.
