Bufferbloat is the undesirable latency that comes from a router or other network equipment buffering too much data. This issue is very common in modern networking which have limited bandwidth. To solve the issue, fq_codel is implemented in Linux kernel as one of the queuing Active Queue Management (AQM) algorithm. In this session the speaker will talk about:
- Introduction to bufferbloat
- Introduction to fq_codel
- fq_codel implementation in Linux kernel
- Short Demo
