Welcome Party
The Welcome Party is a warm-up gathering on the evening before COSCUP. Whether or not you are joining COSCUP the next day, you are welcome to have a drink, talk about open source, meet community partners, and make conversations easier for the two conference days ahead.

What's at the party?
- A chance to meet many open source people.
- A place to make new friends or meet old friends before the conference.
- Conversation stickers will be available onsite. Feel free to take and use them.
How to Join
No registration is required. Please come directly to the venue. There is no minimum spend at the Welcome Party, but we still recommend purchasing an All-you-can-drink ticket to support the event. The All-you-can-drink ticket includes non-alcoholic beverages and helps cover the venue cost. Simple food will be available onsite so everyone can have something to eat.
How to Get All-you-can-drink Tickets
All-you-can-drink tickets can be obtained through pre-purchase, invitation tickets, or onsite purchase.
- Early Bird Ticket: 2026-07-10 21:00 to 2026-08-05 20:00 (UTC+8)
- Normal Ticket: 2026-08-05 20:00 to 2026-08-07 20:45 (UTC+8)

Check-in
If you have pre-purchased or received an All-you-can-drink ticket, please check in at the entrance counter.
Prepare the check-in QR Code on KKTIX.
- The left counter is for communities, speakers, and invited guests.
- The right counter is for general All-you-can-drink ticket holders and onsite All-you-can-drink ticket purchases.
- Staff may ask you to show identification and may mark no-alcohol on your ticket.
Feeling Crowded?
There is more space beyond the front area. You are welcome to chat behind the bistro. Walk through the bistro lobby to the outdoor area in the back, where water-cooled fans, drinks, tables, and chairs are also available.
Notes
- Please follow our Code of Conduct.
- Please drink responsibly. Minors are prohibited from drinking alcohol.
- Please do not damage tables or chairs.
- Smoking is not allowed indoors.
After the Party
The Welcome Party is scheduled to end at 21:30 UTC+8. After the event, you can continue the evening at the nearby Huashan 1914 Creative Park, or visit our community partner MozTW Space.
