【Session Theme: Trustworthy AI】
Many of us do not fully understand how AI regularly touches our lives.
AI curate what you read, what you heard, who to social; AI drives for you, translate for you, decide how you recognized the world; AI distinguishes who is green, who is red, who can leave, who need to quarantine; AI judge who is good, who is bad, who is loyal to the party, and who is criminal. AI knows you better than you, but you don’t really understand AI.
Does AI value Privacy? How to be responsible? Is it safe? Any transparent and explainable? Can it be fair, non-discrimination? Is human in control? Is AI promote human values, and support for human rights?
We need a more Trustworthy AI. We need to understand how AI make important decisions, and shape how those decisions are made. We need to build a world that AI is helpful — rather than harmful — to human beings.
I will introduce some researches and projects Mozilla had on the Trustworthy AI domain.
