Vue 3 is almost here! – but why it takes so long?
Vue 3 is almost here!
Since the idea begins, it took nearly two years for the team to release this new version. For other open-source frameworks, you can see a similar situation: from Angular 1 to Angular 2 it also took 2 years, the refactor of fiber in React 16 is even longer.
Why it takes so long? What kinds of technical issues we faced and trade-offs we made? In this talk, I’ll try to explain this question though my experience when developing Vue 3.
