Open data is not only change the living styles of people but also the agricultural practices of farmers. Although it’s become much easier than before to get data on the internet, the development of digital agriculture business is still growing slower in industry. The quality of agricultural open data plays an important role when it comes to business applications. In this lecture, “Agritech Analytics” would be presented as an example of textual data mining for the new business model of agri-technology research fronts. Moreover, the open data for standardized Chinese agriculture vocabulary would release in the same time. By sharing the knowledge of agricultural open data, we hope that more and more people will work together and value up the agricultural open data.
「挖資料掘商機:農業開放資料的經濟學」,講座以「農業智庫報導」的文字探勘與資料分析為例,對於後端工程師而言「稻米、稻作、水稻、稻」為四個不同的資料源,但其實四筆資料在商業使用上都有相同的內涵。換言之,爬抓回的資料需要由農業人士進行標準化轉換,接著建立清理邏輯、並以人為標記與結構化之後才能使用。
數位時代來臨,資料的取得門檻固然越趨簡單,「資料的品質」卻成為產業數位化最大的瓶頸,同時限制了開放資料的商業應用價值。此次演講以「農業智庫報導」的商業服務為例,由分析師阿柴分享的文字探勘的血淚談,並首度公開標準化的農業詞庫清單,期望號召有志之士一同協作華文區第一本農業線上詞庫。
